Slightly belated CONGRATS to my Tokyo gym-mate Takashi Uchiyama Super Featherweight champ, KO'ed Jorge Solis (who's fought Pacquiao in past) on December 31st, bumping Uchiyama's no-loss perfect pro record now 18-0.
Uchiyama is one of the two world class boxers I have had the pleasure of knowing and training with. (The other is upcoming Olympian great Queen Underwood who got her start in one of my local clubs). Both of these two scary-good super-fighters are incredibly nice, helpful, ultra-cool people as long as you aren't on the wrong side of the leather...
CONGRATS and we'll be looking for Queen to score gold in London (if the city doesn't burn itself down first).
