Main content of my August 13th and 14th (weekend days) seminar in Seattle will be grabbing the most succulent bite-size isolatable chunks from my two main recent offerings:
- Tai Chi ZMQ37 'The Hot Zone' (film: torquing you out on the key hidden accelerants buried in the Zheng Manqing form)
- Advanced Xingyi Energetics (book: just listed on Amazon, the key hidden accelerants buried in the 5 Elements and Animals)
However - for any live-action event like a seminar, I also like to give out one key 'bonus' training. Some drill that I (nor anybody else to my knowledge) has ever put out, or at least not in the manner and for the purpose that I will. And this seminar is no exception.
If you've followed my books, you'll know that I've presented a version of Sumo's traditional Shiko exercise. This was highlighted by Supermaster of internal martial arts Yukiyoshi Sagawa as his go-to basic drill for his Aiki power. I explained my best reverse engineering of this, and it's a seriously powerful little micro regimen.
Now however, I have "reimagined" (as people love to say these days) that 'internal' version of Shiko, and infused another element from some of my earliest training. So if standard Sumo Shiko is v. 1.0, and then Sagawa/Kimura internal is Shiko v. 2.0, this new internal Shiko 3.0 is 10x more awesome at blasting the internal power wave through you. And yet it's quite simple to do, it is a true descendant of real Shiko, in its mechanics it's just a Shiko variant. But you'll be freakishly amazed if you incorporate this into your daily internal routine. And it won't take all that long for you to experience the intense acceleration.
I do not plan to film this, and I have no other books or vids in the pipeline or planned. This is a simple yet super radical innovation. Come for the weekend and get it live out of the oven. Contact for registration: taichisingularity at gmail dot com.
This isn't me being cold. I'm just saying if everything's served to you while on your butt in your Barcalounger, another Youtube 5-minute freebie at the click of your mouse, where's the incentive to ever come do anything? If you can't make this year, who knows - maybe we'll all survive another round and you'll have another chance in Summer 2023.
