I posted the other day about the most accelerant way to develop and amp Xingyi arm power charge, based on the Crush (崩拳) technique. To make it crystal clear, please refer to photo above, showing the numerical sequence for the smooth and brisk sequential fist 'closure' around a cylinder while punching. You begin by 'firming' not clenching, still kind of soft, but a degree tighter of finger roll engagement) the little finger, then as the punch progresses (with your step and whole body Crush dynamic coordinated of course), the fist engagement proceeds according to this sequence:
- Little finger 'closes'
- Ring finger 'closes'
- Middle finger 'closes'
- Index finger and thumb 'close' together (Tiger Eye)
Your ratio of this kind of practice to normal (no cylinder) practice should be 7:3. It's one of the most powerful things you can do for arm charge. I know it's too simple for most of you but for those who have ears, use this simple method to keep your mind exactly where it should be, then do the upright standing and soak up the amped power vibrations and resonating through arms and of course whole body from feet at hugely elevated level.
